Lakes United

Lakes United Seagulls entered the Newcastle Rugby League in 1947, and it was a winning debut, defeating North Newcastle in the Final.

Lakes have a vast junior catchment and over the years many great players have progressed to higher honours including Paul "the chief" Harrogan, Adam Muir, Brett Kimmorley, Craig Kimmirley and Josh Jackson.
