Western Suburbs Devils
Western Suburbs were created in 1949 by merging the districts small local clubs. By 1957 the Devils had their first premiership.
Wests have won 16 Illawarra premierships, with last in 2018 beating Thirroul 18-16.
The Devils golden era was in the early 70’s, when they 4 straight titles. Wests have been a great breading ground of talent over they years. Some of the names to come out of Western Suburbs include Bob Fulton, Steve Roach, Garry Jack, Brett Stewart & Glenn Stewart.
