Promoting Women's Sport via New Channels

BarTV Sports are celebrating International Women's Day through better promotion of our great local athletes.

We're not really "fancy breakfast" people at BarTV Sports - when we celebrate #IWD, we want to give some tangible benefits. So we have restructured the BarTV Sports website and stretched our technology to offer women in sport some new spaces to play in.

Firstly, we have created a new Instagram account and Twitter feed known as @bartvsportswomen. From today, EVERY goal, every try, every 3-pointer, 4-pointer and 5-pointer broadcast by BarTV will go LIVE to these Instagram and Twitter feeds. A place to celebrate the incredible female athletes we cover each week. Give it a follow and see the pure joy of women’s sport.

And finally, you can't be what you can't see - so we’ve made women’s matches easier to find on our site. We have created a dedicated "Women's" section in the navigation, which shows all women's matches - live, upcoming and on-demand, as well as a filtered version of our handy TV Guide

Since being an integral part of the early delivery of the WBBL cricket competition, BarTV are a true and passionate driver of women’s sport. We are a strong employer of women and wish to be a mentor to up-and-coming female broadcasters. Join us today.
